Dr. Gretchen L. Thiele set up her first intranet in 1991, based on a network of VM and VMS mainframes running gopher. Currently, she is a Systems Programmer at Princeton University, responsible for the OE shell and ADSM.
Gretchen has been a research fellow, scientific programmer/analyst, corporate statistician, and Internet content developer/webmaster. She lectures frequently about ADSM, Internet ethics and technology.
