MVMRUG January 23, 1998 Meeting

Our first MVMRUG MEETING of 1998 was held near Dayton, Ohio the home of Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Location: Holiday Inn, Englewood, Ohio

The Holiday Inn is located just north of Dayton, Ohio at exit 29 off of I-70. The service was excellent and the food was very good.

Thursday Night Dinner and Social

Joe's Crab Shack hosted our Thursday Night Dinner and Social. Chubby Checker's twist music greeted us as we entered the door and after a short wait, we were given our own private dining room. Everyone appeared to be relaxed and one could see balloons drifting across the table. Al "The Amazing Alto" Tokarsky left the waitresses with balloon flowers, teddy bears, crabs and a balloon robot. All the food was excellent, but the fresh crab legs and key lime pie won the honors for the top menu selections.

   (Step by step examples using samples from production VM Systems)
   

5. OV/VM Lotus Notes, and the Internet
   (A cost-effective office solution for these new environments)
