John has been with IBM since 1981, and a member of the VM/ESA Development team since 1986. He has been involved in the design and development of many VM enhancements in the Control Program. He also worked on Cross Systems Extensions and Year 2000 Readiness. John has recently been involved in z/VM's systems management strategy and led the design and development of z/VM's Systems Management APIs.
