Carl Forde received his combined Mathematics and Computer Science degree from the University of Victoria in 1987. He has worked at British Columbia Systems Corporation, which provides a central store of computer-related services for the provincial government. While there, he developed a text-based web browser called "Charlotte" which runs on mainframe systems. He is currently employed at Beyond Software where he develops World Wide Web software for the mainframe.
