Gary Brodock joined IBM in June of 1969 after receiving a BS degree in Mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York. His first few years were spent working on an automated warehouse in Endicott, New York and subsequent automated warehousing projects. In March of 1981, Gary transferred to the CMS Development Organization at the Glendale Laboratory in Endicott and began working on getting REXX included in CMS. He worked on enhancements to REXX throughout his remaining time with IBM, with REXX I/O support on VM as his last project.
After leaving IBM, Gary worked for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany, New York for two and a half years as a senior programmer on their refund system. Gary is currently employed by C.W. Costello & Associates, Inc., a full service Management Advisory Services computer consulting firm.
