Alan Altmark received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from
the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1982 and immediately joined
IBM as a member of the VM development team in Endicott, New York.
 
He also spent several years as a profession VM tester.  He's
currently an active z/VM designer and developer with responsibility
for z/VM security and systems management strategy.  Alan
regularly speaks on z/VM networking and security topics at
national and international IBM technical conferences and user
groups, and is currently an IBM representative to SHARE.
