9:30 a.m. Pipeline Web CGI Techniques
           Will Roden, IBM VM

           Abstract

Several plumbers are using Pipelines in their CGI
scripts. I have found three basic techniques that
are used. This presentation will show how to use the
CHANGE stage for the 1:1 case, and techniques for the
1:M (One to Many) along with the M:M (Many to Many)
case. The last case will be demonstrated using the
PIPCMD stage. This presentation will improve your
knowledge in an area of Pipelines that has caused some
           discomfort.

10:30 a.m. Break

10:45 a.m. Using HiDRO in a VM:Backup Environment
           Rob Amos, Computer Associates

           Abstract

This session will discuss the "hows and whys"
you should incorporate the HiDRO backup and
recovery product (formerly Syback) into your
existing CA-VM:Backup system. The benefits of
using both in tandem products will be discussed
as well as those things you should be aware of
           as you implement HiDRO.

11:45 a.m. Lunch (You can hit the local restaurants or use the
           cafeteria located at Ross Labs)

1:30 p.m. Sharing Data Between Linux and VM
           Will Roden, IBM VM

           Abstract

When SSL was developed on Linux on VM, some interest-
ing techniques were created. This discussion will
           describe some of them including:

           - Moving data from VM to Linux on the same signon
           - Moving data using different signons
           - Tracing Techniques

This will give you a better understanding of how to develop
           a Linux application on VM.

 2:30 p.m. Break

 2:45 p.m. From the Trenches -
Migrating 6000 PROFS Calendars to MS Outlook
           Terry Moore,

           Abstract

The Timken Company used PROFS extensively for managing
calendars and scheduling meeting for 15 years. Recently
they migrated their 6000 calendar users from PROFS to
MS Outlook. This presentation will share the process,
problems, and solutions developed along the way.
